Family to Family is a twelve week course, taught once a year successively in Corvallis, Albany and Lebanon. It covers the treatment and management of mental illnesses. Support Group, Meets twice monthly on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7pm at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Corvallis. Outreach and Liaison includes representation on and networking with government agencies and representatives; funding, legislative and legal issues, task force, advisory boards and other groups.
Newsletter, NAMI Mid-Valley Advocate, appearing quarterly, covers local persons and events, legislative and medical updates, issues for advocacy, and consumer contributions.
Community Events sponsored by NAMI include a picnic in July with families and members of Oregon Family Support Network. This event connects the entire mental health community.
